Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Been thinking a lot about angels lately, and this verse makes me smile. Seems that we can make angels rejoice, every time someone either comes to Jesus for the first time, or when a ‘Christian’ decides to leave one of their ‘bad habits’ and to get right with God, and walk in a new level of honor and holiness.
Mt 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;
Mt 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
So many people know so little of the love of God, and His ways! If we all who claim to know Him, simply let our light shine, and encouraged people to turn to Jesus this Holyday season, we can not only make heaven rejoice, but some very hard working angels can get something to again sing about!
While theologians argue the date, let’s not argue the event. Christmas is a birthday party celebrating Jesus birth. Let’s give the angels something to smile about this year…
‘Father, I live for you, and want to represent you well. During this season, may I use all of my influence, and words to speak for you, and to gently lead people back to you. Use me Father, I pray, in your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’
