40 Days of Prayer against Racism
As we prepare for the reading of the Tulsa Race Riot eyewitness account, on July 1st at the Tulsa Historical Society, through the Afro American Resource Branch of Rudisill Public Library we are committed to this 40 day prayer vigil, in advance of the event.
We believe that ‘Unless God gets involved, it is merely men talking, but when God gets involved, hearts and minds can be changed by His Spirit’
Today’s prayer point is: that God generational racism, stemming from broken treaties with First Nations peoples, and the resulting brokenness, bitterness, and hatred that resulted from stolen lands and resources. That God heal, hearts and minds, and provide divine justice, forgiveness, mercy and restitution to those who have been stolen from and oppressed. That He forgive the oppressors, and open their eyes to their pride, greed, selfishness, and ruthlessness, That He might forgive them, and reveal His great love and mercy towards this, and reveal to them how to change, and make restitution wherever possible. That all of us walk in humility, strength, dignity, courage, and boldness, knowing that we are all equally loved and valued by God.
That we all need the cross of Jesus Christ for forgiveness, that we all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, that only in Him can we heal together.
Pr 22:2 The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
Ac 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Please forward this, to anyone who might consider joining us in this prayer vigil, directly targeting the eradication of racism, such a critical need in our city.
Keep Smiling!
Jesus is Lord

Do you know Jesus?
Each day, we seek first the kingdom of God, and this post is designed to encourage you to read through your Bible, daily, each year.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Each day, as we read, we must meet with Him, for He is life!
Knowing Him, is the difference between heaven and hell, healing and sickness, heartbreak or peace, success or failure…
Today, give Him your life, for He is King of the universe. Only God, your Creator, the One who flung the universe into being, is big enough to fully understand the complexity of who you really are, powerful enough to literally recreate your life from all its drama’s and tragedies, and loving enough to heal your deepest pain. He knows you, and He cares…
The question is: Do you know Him?
Ac 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Call on Him today! He knows you, and He loves you! He will speak to you and give you direction, purpose, and peace!
Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Let’s pray!
“Father God in heaven, I come to you now, and ask that You would forgive me. I choose to believe, that You raised Jesus from the dead, and Lord Jesus, I receive You now. Please come into my life, and fill me with Your presence, plan, and purpose, that I am created to live. Fill me with Your love, and may I obey, and love all those You place in my path, Amen.”
