Faith meets authority: BE STRONG!
Josh 17: 14 ¶ And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?
15 And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.
16 And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.
17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:
18 But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.
Love this account! Here the tribe of Joseph, come to Joshua, demanding more land. Joshua, mighty warrior agrees with them, and says, you are a great people, so I will give you more land mighty warriors, ‘Take the mountain! There are strong enemies there, with iron chariots, but you shall take it! You are the people of God, and you have great power!”
Think God has changed?
Here the words of Jesus:
Mt 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Lu 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
In this hour, God Himself has raised up prayer warriors, who do not use physical weapons, like Joshua, the sword and the spear, but there is surely a sword of the spirit, and a lance of Holy Spirit intercession, exercised by violent faith, passion, fervency, and a war cry of mountain moving, devil destroying, shout of authority in the earth, as we praise, worship, pray, and shout the victory to the ends of the earth.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ps 149: 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 ¶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
Heb 4: 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Ps 47:1 «To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.» O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
Jesus is building His church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it!
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I am strong in you, and power of your might. Make me bold, fearing neither death, nor devils. Deliver me from the fear of man, and every snare I am in, through fear people, any person, more than I fear you. Arise mighty warrior, in and through me, and release to me the gifts of your Holy Spirit, in power, and might. May I exercise violent faith today, against the world, the flesh, and any devil attacking me, my family, my church, my community, and my country, in your mighty and matchless name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’
