This morning, as I read through my yearly daily Bible reading (http://oneyearbibleonline.com/daily-oyb/?version=51&startmmdd=0101), these verses made an impression upon me:
Ps 85:10 Unfailing love and truth have met together.
Righteousness and peace have kissed!
11 Truth springs up from the earth,
and righteousness smiles down from heaven.
I see Jesus in these verses, for He came full of grace and truth: John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Righteousness and peace have kissed: On the cross, the demands of God’s righteousness and holiness were met by Jesus sacrifice, and now Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition, Yet, it did not end at the cross. Jesus died, and He was laid in a borrowed tomb, yet on the third day, He rose from the dead so that ‘truth springs up from the earth’, God’s justice is appeased, and ‘righteousness smiles down from heaven’
Now, we have peace with God, and a spirit led and empowered life to live, in vital living relationship with our heavenly Father, TODAY, and everyday for the rest of our lives! Glory!
Today, our live is a clean slate, as we seek our heavenly Father, He comes into our lives, and eternity meets time, and He creates HIS Story through our living testimony of our walk with Him.
It is the greatest, most fulfilling adventure on earth!
