Hello everyone,
It has been an interesting month in the life of the Walsh’s.
Presently, our primary ministry is prayer, as we release the ‘terrific trickle’ of Holy Spirit inspired prayer for several hours each day, then do what He tells us to do. Just our Scriptural confessions over your life, take us an hour each day. It is simply part of the responsibility to our call.
Seek ye first, is still how the kingdom works. Yesterday’s blessings and problems are past, NOW faith is, and His name is I AM, our ever-present help in time of need.
We are living with a family who are pioneering a house church here in North Tulsa. Much love, grace and joy here! It is fun to help out as a family. We help set up, and Rick and I often tag-team teach, and it is much fun to see how our gifts complement each other!
I cannot thank enough, the five families that have hosted us this year. When we live with people, we see Christian community worked out in beautiful expressions of grace, and the ways God is working in different homes have been precious to experience up close and personal. Has drawn us close together as a family, and we have learned from the creative ways other families do life, better than we have. We have seen the ways families do chores, home school, minister, prepare food, exercise, pray together, work together, and love each other in incredible ways. All of you have contributed to us in countless ways, and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done! All of us love our children and grandchildren, and it is neat to see that way we are all serving Jesus in our homes. I think of Ephesians 3:15 For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].
Though there are similarities in all Christian families that are serving the Lord, it is clear that God gives each household a particular, unique gift and calling, and all of us to life differently, according to the vision He places in each house. As our love grows, we naturally reach out to our community in different ways, and this looks different in each place. Yet, love is what we do, whether to a senior living alone, to fatherless children, to someone going through divorce or loss of a loved one, or to people across the world…Our walk with God must be worked out in our families, so that we can boldly say: Joshua 24:15
And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we WILL serve the Lord
I notice that while I aggressively seek the face of God each day for His will, His voice, His direction and provision, and then do what He tells me to do in writing, speaking, serving, researching and publishing, building AOMMinistries, and expanding the kingdom of God in the earth, Karen seems to care about five things every day: 1. Jesus 2. Where are we going to live? 3. What are we going to eat? 4. What are the children going to do? 5. Home school?
As I am learning to listen to her, and take her concerns before the Lord in prayer, all these needs get met, daily, directly by prayer, and the faith of my family grows as together, we witness the goodness of the Lord and His faithfulness towards us.
Compared to our normal service schedule when home, we are only in four public meetings per week, a far cry from our normal schedule, yet the kingdom of God is still advancing aggressively through the blog and the books. It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord takes my writings and people respond with prayer requests and testimonies, from around the world.
Pretty much daily, I try to blog out some revelation or something I believe the Lord would have me to post, and it is mind-blowing to see what the Lord does with these!
Yet, more and more, my main ministry is with leaders, and as I quietly remain in relationship with the right people, great things occur. I have also learned NOT to post or share any of this on any Social Media, as there are wicked people, who deliberately will destroy what we are trying to build, if they simply discover what I am up to. I have a greater understanding of: 2 Thessalonians 3:2
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith
Gotta live what I preach: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/06/27/persecution-purifies-choose-this-day-who-you-will-serve/
I will say that at this time, I am working on simply finding acceptable housing for our family, and staying here in Tulsa. I am not looking to travel much this next year, although I am open to it: Whatever He says, I will do.
As always, we live by faith.
Though there have been some challenges this month: (Like when our jeep was stolen, and then the thieves got a flat and were arrested right in front of the house where we are staying, http://www.fox23.com/videos/news/video-teens-commit-tulsa-crime-spree/vDW5k2/ or when a branch snapped back and caught me in the head and put me in bed for two days vomiting with a concussion)
Yet, the work of God through us moves on.
I am working on two more books, and it looks like the children’s book with my daughter will be done very soon.
Prayer Points for our family:
1. Our own house
2. Bills paid
3. Another working laptop for the Keila for home school.
4. Book translation:There is a ministry in Pakistan that has graciously offered to translate ‘The Parable of the Sower’ into Urdu for a fee of $175. If you have a burden to reach people there, this is a great place to sow financial seed. I receive many prayer requests and praise reports from Pakistan. I still speak there over Skype occasionally, and the Kingdom Business Outreach aired there last year on television.
5. Full Provision for the children’s home school. It seems that the two I Pad Mini’s that were issued last year through the children’s school, were not insured, and were stolen throughout the year during our travels. We were charged $1200 for these, and this does not leave us any money for home school curriculum and books. Karen and I sat down and designed a ‘Dream Curriculum’ for Keila and Jay, and priced it on Amazon. It costs right at $2000, but we are shopping…
6. As always, children are growing and NEED clothes and shoes. Keila has grown over 4” this summer and everything is too small.

Give in faith!
1 Corinthians 9:11 If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?
1 Corinthians 9:14 [On the same principle] the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel.
Paul goes on to say, that he did not use his position as a minister of the gospel to take up offerings, rather he worked, making tents, to support himself. You might notice here, that Paul was not married, nor did he have children. Family responsibilities take time, and just as you bust a move on your job to provide for your family, I work every bit as hard, doing this, faithful to the Lord in prayer and the ministry of His Word, to you.
I will never charge for this: it my responsibility to God, my calling. Freely I have been given, now, I freely give…
As you give, hear Holy Spirit what to give, and honestly expect God to reward you for your giving.
Matt 10: 41 He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.
I am a five-fold ministry gift and office – this is my life – I pray, I hear, I write, and wonderful things happen. You have your job description, I have mine – this is mine….
I have ‘see through’ faith for you, in this: Gal 3: 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
I believe I have a responsibility before God to be like Jesus, in every offering I receive. I receive it with thanksgiving, just like Jesus did the little boys lunch.
Then, because I walk and live by faith according to the blessing of Abraham, I believe that God will take your seed sown, and multiply it, according to what the blessing of Abraham promises:
Genesis 22:17 In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies
It has been a joy to me, to see the hand of the living God act in the lives of those of you who have supported us this year!
Many have seen tremendous blessing come into your households, and for this we give thanks, and give Jesus all the glory!
