Ask our Father, in Jesus name
John 16:23 ¶ And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Here we see New Testament prayer, based upon the Word of God. We pray to the Father, in Jesus name.
There is only one mediator God accepts, and that is Jesus.
We do not need to attempt to go to Him through Mary, one of the saints who has gone before, the prophet Mohammed, our ancestors nor elders in the sky, or any other name.
Simply, humbly, we are instructed, to go directly to the Father, in Jesus name.
So, Ask! He longs to answer, and give you wonderful things. As He answers, your joy will become full!
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, Creator, the great Grand Father of all life, we come to You this day, and ask that You reveal to us, Your life and plan for our lives. Give us all that we need to walk honorably in this life, that we might glorify Your name. We ask, knowing that we are heard and answered, for we ask in Your name Lord Jesus. Amen’
