God’s Promises of Provision From Scripture

Prosperity Confessions teaching

provides3

“Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth”

The purpose of this teaching, is to get money, wealth and Biblical prosperity to you, according to the Word of God. May you receive it!

If you have read or used my confession sheet on 100 confessions for financial prosperity, this is simply a Bible study explaining where each confession came from, explaining the promise of God, praying God perform it, then encouraging you to receive that promise, by believing it, receiving it, and acting upon it by confessing it before God’s throne.

As I have studied this topic, I began to receive a revelation of the love of God for us, His children. He loves us, and longs to provide for us, liberally, generously, graciously, according to His Word.

True prosperity is knowing Him, for He is everything! Yet, the specific purpose of this teaching is to get finances and provision across to you, for this seems to be the greatest need in the kingdom of God these days. Poverty is a curse, it is not part of heaven or God’s kingdom, but an enemy to be destroyed.

Let’s begin with basic Christianity. Apart from Jesus, we are nothing, we have nothing, we are without hope and without God in the world. Jesus is not just another religious teacher, prophet, nor mere historical figure, He is God in the flesh.

He came to earth, the little baby we celebrate at Christmas. His mother is Mary, but His Father, the seed that impregnated Mary, is God Himself. He was born of a virgin.

He lived a perfect life, without sin before God and people, He healed the sick, raised the dead, divided the loaves and fishes, and did countless mighty miracles, yet His primary mission here in the earth was to win back humanity to Himself, for we all like sheep had gone astray, each of us going our own way, lost.

Our fellowship with God was broken through our sin. There had to be a punishment for sin, payment for the guilty, before a Holy God, and Jesus decided to pay our penalty, take the rap, do the time, lay down His life for us. He did this on the cross. The only innocent man who ever lived, died in our place. Some say, ‘So what? Everyone dies. Why is Jesus death any different?” Well, it is not what we think about Jesus death that is important, rather, ‘What does God Almighty think about it? “

Jesus did not come to make bad people good, or good people better. He came to make dead people alive. Religion has always been a set of rules made up by people that say if you do this and this and this, you might finally reach God. Though religion is man’s attempt to reach God, Jesus is God’s attempt to reach man.

God accepted Jesus sacrifice upon the cross, as punishment for all of humanity. He died, and the weight of the sin of the whole world was laid upon Him.

Yet, He did not remain dead. This is what separates Jesus from any other religious leader that ever lived. He rose from the dead, on the third day, and appeared to over 500 eye witnesses.

Then comes the exciting part, He ascended back into heaven! He reigns! He is Lord, and all authority and power in heaven and in earth belongs to Him!

In short, He came, He lived, He died, He rose and He reigns!

If you decide to receive this man Christ Jesus as your king and Lord, He will adopt you into His family, give you rights and privileges in His kingdom, and literally come to live inside of you by His Holy Spirit! He will give you authority and power to live for Him in this generation, and will meet your every need, if you seek and obey Him.

Truly, apart from Him, we have nothing, but in Him, we have all things! Let’s pray:

“Jesus, I call upon your name. I accept you as my savior, king and my Lord. I receive you into my life! Forgive me where I have gone my own way, and sinned against you, show me how to live for you, daily, and forever. AMEN!”

There are many, many precious promises in the Word of God. These promises allow us to actually partake of the kingdom of heaven.

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Understanding these promises, and applying them through faith and prayer, will cause God to bring His kingdom to pass in our life. The purpose of this teaching is to get financial prosperity to you, through the Word of God, to actually get you to partake of the provisions of God, through His promises.

I will explain a concept, give you the verse for it, and encourage you to believe it, receive it, and partake of it by confessing it out loud, before God. Miracles will occur as you proclaim the promises, as God supernaturally works in your world, through His Word.

There are over 100 promises here specifically promising your financial prosperity. Some simply need to be believed and recieved through confession. Others require obedience, and are conditional. If you do what is required, God will perform His part in blessing you. Let’s get into the Word of God!

We are redeemed from every curse in the earth!

It is written that:

Gal 3:13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

This verse is the heart of God’s provision, the foundation of Biblical prosperity.

Under the Old Covenant, we see the result of blessing and cursing under the law expressed in Deut 28. In the first 14 verses, we see the wonderful blessings that come to a person, based upon obedience to the law of God. God is a good God, and He has always loved His people and desired they be blessed.

Yet Deut 28 has 66 verses. 14 regard the blessings of obedience, 52 describe the curses God Himself will bring to a person or household that refuses Him and His ways. There has only ever been one person that fulfilled the law, and His name is Jesus. In fact, no one ever can fulfill the law today, and to try and do so, will produce death.

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

If you miss one part of the law, you miss it all, and it will kill you. How could you ever prosper financially, because if you ever missed a prescribed tithe payment, a specified offering, or a command required, you brought the whole of these 52 curses down upon you and your household.

How the demons, witches, and warlocks know this! They live in condemnation, describing to you and your enemies intimately your faults and failures, destroying your confidence in their ongoing onslaught of accusation, blame, criticism (the ABC’s of Satan), and constantly insinuating, whispering allegations about you designed to rob you of faith and confidence.

Yet, enter Jesus. Sin, and the breaking of the law, produces death.

It is written: “Ro 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

You didn’t manage your money well enough, you should not have made that financial deal, you overspent again, you didn’t tithe, and God will not bless you because you are cursed.

“Sure, the devil whispers, you go to church, or you claim to be a Christian, but your heart is wrong, and God knows your secret sin. He will not bless you financially, He is leaving you broke to teach you humility”

Well, let’s look at:

In Deut 28: 47  Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

48  Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

This is one of the curses described in Deuteronomy 28, from God Himself, that will come from not serving Him correctly. Sure looks like poverty to me. Enemies enslaving you, you never have enough to eat, to wear, to drink, and you live in constant ‘want of all things’.

So many of us live here: Never having quite enough to make ends meet; Working at jobs that are tyranny rather than blessing; eating poorly, poor water, poor clothes, bondage, and worse yet, the tyranny of unfulfilled desires.

This describes the curse of poverty.

Yet it is written: Gal 3:13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Can you not see Jesus in this verse, literally taking upon Himself on the cross, your poverty. Surely He was hungry, He said ‘I thirst’, He was naked, (they cast lots for His garment), and God Himself turned His back upon Him, (Mark 15:34 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?) putting Him in want of all things.

He literally bore the curse of poverty upon the cross for you and I! We could not help ourselves, He did it. I had no remedy for my sin, He bore it, and forgave me. I had no healing for my sickness, He bore it, and took stripes that I might be free. I could not pay my debts, and He bore my poverty so that I could live free from debt, with all my needs met for it is written:

2Co 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

2Co 9:9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

He was made poor on the cross, that I might be made rich!

Now do you see how He could say:

Mt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed (empowered to prosper) are the poor, why? Because through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, heaven can come to earth on their behalf, and heaven’s resources become theirs!

Lu 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

Now He can say things like:

Matt 6: 28  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Money and things will indeed never satisfy the hunger in any human heart, only the Word and Spirit of God can do that, but money, and provision are part of the covenant, if you would simply believe it, and take Him at His Word.

Receive His provision today, declaring with me:

Father, I praise and worship you for who you are. I thank you for your kingdom given to me through Jesus. Lord Jesus, I see how you died to provide for me financially, as well as spiritually, and I receive it, now, declaring boldly that Lord Jesus, I believe you were made poor that I might become rich, in every arena of life. I declare before heaven, earth, the angels, and every power of Satan that I am redeemed from every curse of poverty. I receive the fullness of my financial redemption, right now, in your mighty name, Lord Jesus. Satan, you have lied to me too long. I speak to every work of the world, the flesh and the devil, and command it to release my finances, NOW. I loose the abundance of my covenant with God, and commission angels to go bring in money to me, now, in Jesus name. Amen.

Well, we looked at the curse, and how we are now redeemed from it. Now let’s look briefly at the blessing of Abraham, given to us through Jesus.

Gal 3: 16  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Gal 3: 29  And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The question is: What is the promise? What did God promise Abraham? Also, what is the curse? It is critical that I know, because these verses boldly declare that whatever God promised Abraham, I can claim for myself, because Jesus has grafted me in God’s covenant, and made me an heir according to these very promises. Let’s look at the life of Abraham:

Gen 12:1 ¶  Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Gen 12:2  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

In Galatians the apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, reveals to us, our covenant rights through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. He rose from the dead, and when we received Him, we were adopted into His family, and because He died, He left us an inheritance in the earth. He has provided for us abundantly through this covenant, but it must be received and acted upon by faith. We are heirs according to the promise, and as Abraham’s seed, every blessing God promised Abraham, we can claim for ourselves.

Let’s look at some of these promises God made to Abraham, and then receive them for ourselves, as children of the King!

God appeared to Abraham, and told him to leave his family and country, to go to a place he did not yet know.

Gen 12:2  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

God performed this word for Abraham, for it is written: Gen 13:2  And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. 16  And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Gen 15: 1 ¶  After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. 5  And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Let’s believe this on purpose, and confess before God.

  1. Gen 12:2 I receive the blessing of Abraham in my life through Jesus! I believe God has blessed me abundantly and I am a blessing. This blessing made Abraham rich, and I believe I receive the riches and prosperity of our covenant, now. Father, you are my shield and exceedingly great reward, and I believe you are multiplying my seed as the sand of the seashore, and stars of the heavens. I’m blessed, and I thank and praise you Father for it, in your precious name Lord Jesus!

Now we follow this blessing down through the corridor of time, and we see it flow through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, into the life of a son of Israel named Joseph. You remember the story: Joseph: the coat of many colors, the dreamer that got betrayed by his brothers, and sold into slavery in Egypt. Ever felt that way? Been betrayed? In life? In marriage? In business? How about ripped off financially by a family member, or in a business deal by someone claiming to be a Christian? Suddenly integrity is gone, it becomes life-boat ethics, and every man for himself in a business deal, and there you are, left holding the bag, with a boat load of debt, shattered, with creditors screaming. Been there, done that. Well, the blessing of Abraham is still yours, and God is still with you. Get over the pain, and get on to this word, it will deliver and prosper you. Joseph did, read:

Gen 39:2  And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

3  And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

Jesus is with us, and He will never leave us or forsake us. He loves us, so let’s agree with His Word, and believe and receive this promise for ourselves.

  1. Gen 39:3 The Lord makes all that I do prosper in my hand.

Let me preach here for a bit. Joseph was sold into slavery, and yet the favor of God promoted him head of Potipher’s household and estate, as a slave! The Lord was with Joseph and everything he did, prospered in his hand.

You may have been betrayed, and it appears that you have lost all, but the Lord is with you, and He will cause everything you do, to prosper in your hand. We all know the end of the story, Joseph was tried in his heart, deeply by the Lord, yet God brought His Word to pass, and in a day, he went from the prison to the palace as prime minister, subject only to Pharaoh, in a day.

You may be severely tried by the Word of God, but do not give up. God is determined to bless you, if you continue to stand upon His Word.

PS 105: 17  He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

18  Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

19  Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

You are not trying the Word of God, it is trying you.

Believe it? Then repeat after me:

  1. Gen 39:23 Because the Lord is with me, all that I do prospers greatly.

Now, you need to be doing something. There is not a welfare, disability program in the kingdom of God. You don’t work, you don’t eat. You need to be doing something. Don’t focus on what you can’t do (disability), rather on what you can do (ability), the ability of God, and he says that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

God gave Adam two things first in the garden of Eden: 1. Authority and dominion (Gen 1:26), and 2. Seed (Ge 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat)

Adam had a job to do in the garden, to take care of it, and to protect it, and he had to plant seed.

If you are going to prosper in the kingdom of God, you too must work,

There is natural work, like a job, and then there is spiritual work. Some of the things God considers work are prayer, praise, study, service to the poor, evangelism, ministry, and financial stewardship. Let’s pray for heavenly balance in all of this:

”Father, give me the job and assignment you have for me. May I not settle for second best. Speak to me, lead me, open doors, give me strength and favor, and help me to do diligently what you have for me to do, in Jesus name, Amen.”

Now what we are doing here is a divine principal that you need to understand. Every blessing you can find in the Word of God, belongs to you through Jesus, but it will not automatically come to you, simply because you are a Christian. Nope. You need to discover the promise, believe it, and declare it, and act upon it for it to come to pass in your life.

2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

As far as God is concerned, He is holy, and the promises He has made to us through His Word are eternally established in the heavens, and they cannot be broken. He cannot lie, and He must perform them for us, for He is not a man that He can lie. He is absolute truth. Something else must be understood here. God is no respecter of persons, and the Old Testament promises can be claimed for our lives personally too, through Jesus. God loves you as much as He loves Joshua, David, Solomon, Uzziah, or any person in Psalms. Ro 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Yet, though all the promises in Him are forever YES!, our part is to agree with Him, and to declare them in the earth. God is in heaven, we are in the earth. There is no poverty, debt, or lack in heaven, everyone’s needs are abundantly met there. Yet, the prayer Jesus taught us to pray, is the Lord’s prayer, where we are commanded to ask that “His kingdom come, in the earth, as it is in heaven” We need heavenly resources here in the earth, and here is where it gets interesting. When it comes to money, provision and wealth, what we need is not in heaven, rather, it is already here in the earth. The question is getting it from where it is presently, to us, personally.

Jesus is Lord of heaven and earth.

Matt 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Ps 89:11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fullness thereof, thou hast founded them.

The way prosperity works Biblically, is to exercise heavenly authority, here in the earth, and transfer money, wealth and resources from this worldly system, under the Lordship of Jesus for the use of the kingdom of God, as a testimony of His glory.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Here is the principal. We see a promise in the Word of God, we believe it and then we must speak it. When we speak it the authority of heaven is invoked here in the earth, and Satan and the earth must give up wealth, and angels and the Holy Spirit, must deliver it to us personally, directly, because we believe.

This is why we must search out the Scriptures for God’s promises of prosperity, and deliberately believe them and decree them, because we invoke divine law in operation.

2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith originates in the Word of God. We must hear the Word of God in order to believe, and the primary action of faith is to speak.

Mark 11: 22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Lu 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

We believe, we speak, God hears, and answers in power.

Job 22:28 Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

The purpose of this teaching is to discover the promises of God, regarding our financial prosperity, and then to decree them on purpose.

Remember the story of Joshua and Caleb and the twelve spies the Moses sent out to spy out the land. Ten got scared, and two believed. The two that believed are the only two that lived, and they prospered.

Notice what they said, when they saw the promised land:

Numbers 14:8  If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which flowed with milk and honey.

Well, the Lord does delight in you, and He is well able, and willing to bring you into your promised land. Let’s deliberately believe we receive this promise personally for our lives, and give God something to work with. Let’s turn this verse into a confession:

  1. Num 14:8 The Lord delights in me, he has brought me into a land that flows with milk and honey.

Faith is the exact opposite of reason. Reason says: I’ll believe it when I see it. Faith says, I believe it, therefore I will see it. Pr 3:5 instructs us to lean not on our own understanding. How is God going to do it? Don’t know, and am interested to hear your testimony of how He did it. My job today is to get you to believe, and to deliver the goods that will equip your spirit to act in faith. His job is to deliver the goods your faith produces, to your door!

Well, let’s look at another story. You remember how the children of Israel spent 40 years in the desert, and how everyone died in the desert, except Joshua and Caleb. God spoke to Moses, and said:

Deut 2:3  Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

4  And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

5  Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not as much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

6  Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

7  For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

Well, many of you have been around the mountain long enough. This people had been around it for forty years! Today is the day to hear the voice of God, and go north! If you want a change, you need to make a change, and obedience to Him, is what will bring that change. Let’s agree with the Word of God,

  1. Deut 2:7 For the Lord my God has blessed me greatly in all the works of my hand. I believe I hear the voice of the Word of God, and today, I determine to obey you Holy Spirit, in whatever you ask me to do.

Let’s look at another promise God made:

Deut 7:9  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Let’s believe and confess and establish this in our lives:

  1. Deut 7:9 God is faithful; he keeps his covenant and mercy to them that love him. I love you Father, and I believe I receive every provision your covenant has promised me, in Jesus name!

Here is another promise God made under the Old Covenant:

Deut 7:12 ¶  Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

13  And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Let’s believe this and confess: Father God, I know you love me, and I am determined to hear and obey your Word. Speak to me Holy Spirit! I believe

  1. Deut 7:13 you love me, bless me and multiply me abundantly.

As we continue to read

Deut 7:14  Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

15  And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Let’s believe and receive this by saying:

  1. Deut 7:14 I am blessed above all people, fruitful, strong, and free from all sickness and disease.

Let’s look at another promise of God’s blessing in our lives.

Deut 8:6  Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

7  For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

8  A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

9  A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

Well, through Jesus, this already occurred. Let’s believe it, and confess it, so that God can manifest it in our lives:

  1. Deut 8:6-9 Father God I believe that you have brought me into a good and abundant land, I eat without scarceness and do not lack any good thing.

Let’s see another precious promise from the Word of God for our lives:

Deut 8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

We need to look at this verse in light of the whole counsel of God. We are commanded of God to GO into all the world and preach the gospel.

Mar 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

If you want to see the power of God, you need to be telling people about Jesus, and getting them born-again, and adopted into the kingdom of God. When you do, you establish God’s covenant in the earth, and this promise comes to pass, where He gives you power to get wealth, for He is determined to get the gospel into all the earth, and truly it is written:

Pr 14:25 A true witness delivereth souls: and again: Pr 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Win someone to Jesus today! Tell them this: God loves you, and has a plan for your life. Each of us, have broken God’s laws, and sinned. God wants to forgive you! Jesus died on the cross, to pay the price for our sin, and here is the love of God. Jesus rose from the dead! God said, that if we would accept what Jesus did for us on the cross, we would be forgiven, and He would come to live in our hearts, and would adopt us into His family, and we would live forever in heaven with Him.

Are you willing to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?

Confess: I ask you Jesus into my life. Forgive me my sins. I believe God raised you from the dead, and I receive you as my Lord, now! Whatever you want me to do, I will do, for I put you in charge of my life now. Amen!

  1. I believe that: Deut 8:18 God has given me the power to get wealth so his covenant is established. I receive it, right now, in Jesus name! I will use my abundance to support the preaching of the gospel, and will go wherever you ask me Holy Spirit, in Jesus name!

Let’s look at another promise from the Word of God.

Deut 12:7  And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

As God begins to do wonderful things in your life, the correct response is joy and thanksgiving. For those of you who are parents, consider what happens if you buy your child a toy they really want. They laugh and squeal with joy, and hug and kiss your neck. My little boy keeps repeating, “Thank you Daddy, thank you!”. Makes me want to buy him the whole world!

Let’s believe this promise on purpose and

11.Confess: Deut 12:7 I rejoice in all I put my hand to because God has blessed me greatly.

Let’s look at another promise:

Deut 15: 6  For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

7  If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

8  But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.

9  Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.

10  Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

11  For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

Pr 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Notice here that as you prosper, God immediately has the needs of others He wants you to meet. When you give to the poor, you lend to the Lord, and He will repay! Yet, the purpose of this teaching is to get money to you, not from you. You sure cannot give what you did not get. Gotta receive before you can give! In verse 6 we see that the Lord has already blessed you. Now we need to believe it, and receive it by confessing it.

  1. Let’s confess: Deut 15:6 For God has blessed me as he promised and I will lend to many and not borrow. I will remember the poor in my midst, and will help where He leads.

We see this again in this precious promise:

Deut 26:9  And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.

10  And now, behold, I have brought the first fruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:

This chapter of Deuteronomy has more here than just a promise of financial prosperity, we see here a commandment of God for giving of an offering to Him.

We are to 1: Get a financial offering.

  1. Bring it to church and put it in the offering basket.
  2. Thank, praise, and testify of the goodness of the Lord in blessing you.
  3. The priest is then to testify of the goodness of the Lord, in presenting the offerings of the people before the Lord.
  4. You are to rejoice and praise Him for His goodness.

In this teaching, I am focusing on confessing and establishing the promises of God in the earth, but this is critical: the God side of an offering. Many people have given financially to about every good cause, yet have never first presented their offering to God, and worshipped Him in it, and thanked Him for His goodness.

There is much to teach here but consider:

Heb 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

Heb 7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

Heb 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.

Tithing is still in the New Testament, and though we give them to men who die, here in the earth, there is one, Jesus, who actually receives them, if we present them to Him. He is the high priest of our confession, ever sitting at the right hand of God, praying and making intercession for us, and He is the one we are to love, worship, and obey. He is the one that is listening to me and you now, and watching over this very Word to bring it to pass in our lives. The word tithe means ‘tenth’. One tenth of your total income belongs to God, by divine decree. This keeps us ever dependant upon Him, as each time we receive money, we think of Him first, and immediately prepare our tithes and offering to give to Him. When we do, He puts us first, and causes wonderful things to happen for us financially.

Here’s a couple of verses on tithing:

Le 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.

De 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

2Ch 31:5 And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.

Mt 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Gen 14: 18  And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

19  And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

20  And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

This verse is revolutionary! In order to understand it fully, you must understand blood covenants. I am not going to teach on this fully in this study, but you must understand the fullness of exchange that takes place between two parties in a blood covenant. They exchange gifts, and pledge that their enemies, now become each other’s enemies, everything they own now belongs to the other party, in exchange for everything the other party has.

In this verse, Melchizedek, high priest of Salem (Jerusalem), declares that Abram was of the Most High God, and because of this, was possessor of heaven and earth!

Tithing is our way of declaring regularly our faith and trust in God as our covenant partner, our Lord, and our king. When we tithe, we see the kingdom of heaven explode into the earth in power, for it is written:

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

God, by covenant, has already provided for us, all spiritual blessings, in heavenly places, in Christ. The word Christ literally means ‘the anointed one and His anointing’. Everything we need or want is ours already through the anointing. That anointing can be released, through the act of tithing, for it is written:

Mal 3: 10  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12  And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

13 ¶  Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

See this? You must bring all your tithes into the storehouse, and God will open the windows of heaven, pour out a blessing, and rebuke the devourer for you, yet verse 13 declares that you must also watch your words! This is the main purpose of this book, to get you believing, acting, and speaking correctly with respect to your finances. Let’s believe these words, and pray and confess:

Let’s pray a simple prayer:” Father God, I come to you right now, bringing before you every financial offering I have ever made. Lord Jesus, I pray you receive this, and make it acceptable through your blood, and would present it acceptably before Father God. Father, you alone are Creator of heaven and earth, Almighty God. I ask now that you would bless, promote, increase, favor, deliver, and prosper me, for every good thing I have ever had or been, is only from your hand, for your glory. As I tithe, I thank you for opening the windows of heaven in my life, and pouring out a blessing too great for me to receive. I invoke your covenant of protection Father, thanking you for fighting for me in rebuking the devourer, in your name Lord Jesus, Amen.”

  1. Let’s confess: Father, Deut 26:9 God has brought me into this place, he has given me this land that flows abundantly with milk and honey.

In Deut 28:1-14, we read of the blessings of God that have come to us merely through the law, in obedience. In Jesus, we have a better covenant with God, based upon better promises. We can boldly claim all of these promises, and much more, in Christ:

Let’s confess:

  1. Deut 28:2 All the blessings of Abraham have come on me in abundance and overtaken me.
  2. Deut 28:3-6 I am blessed in the city and in my field, blessed are my children and the fruit of my ground, cattle and sheep. Blessed are my checking and savings accounts, I am blessed when I rise and when I sleep. I am blessed when I come in and when I go out.
  3. Deut 28:8 The Lord has commanded the blessing on me and my storehouse and on all I set my hands to do. He has blessed me abundantly in this land.
  4. Deut 28:11 God has made me plentiful in goods, cattle, and the fruit of my body and land.
  5. Deut 28:12 God has opened unto me his good treasure to give rain to my land and bless all the work of my hand. I will lend and not borrow.
  6. Deut 28:13 I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath.

On to another promise:

Deut 29:9  Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

Again, we believe it on purpose, and confess:

  1. Deut 29:9 I keep the words of Gods covenant and I do them, I prosper in all that I do.

Some have said that they cannot find a job. Here’s a promise from God, for a good job:

Deut 30: 9  And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

10  If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Let’s believe it, receive it, and confess it!

  1. Deut 30:9 God has made me plenteous in every good work of my hand, in the fruit of my body, cattle and land, for good and he rejoices over me.

Let’s look at another promise:

Deut 30:11 ¶  For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

12  It is not in heaven, that thou shoulders say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

13  Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

14  But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

15 ¶  See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

16  In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

17  But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

18  I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Let’s choose life, obedience, and blessing together:

  1. Deut 30:15-16 God has set this day before me and I choose life and abundance. I believe I receive it, by faith in you Lord Jesus.

Let’s look at another promise:

Josh 1: 7  Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

9  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Well, this is the charge God gave Joshua, after Moses died. God loves you as much as He does Joshua, and He wants you strong in Him, and the power of His might. Here is an amazing thing about strength. Believe you receive it, and you get it. Let’s believe together:

  1. Josh 1:7 I am strong and courageous, I turn not to the right or the left, and I fill my heart and mind with the Word of God, so I prosper wherever I go.
  2. Josh 1:8 The word makes my way prosperous and makes me abundantly successful.

Now this next passage shows the love of God, and His purpose for the poor who would love and trust Him.

1 Sam 2: 7  The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

8  He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.

9  He will keep the feet of his saints,

Just like God raised Jesus from the dead, He will raise you up out of poverty, if you simply take Him at His Word. You may be flat broke, busted, and disgusted, but this very Word, believed and acted upon, will deliver you, if you stay with it. Let’s believe and invoke the power of God! Simple belief, faith, is the muscle of God in the earth that gets things done!

Declare with me:

  1. 1 Sam 2:7 The Lord makes me abundantly rich and lifts me up!

Here is the promise taken from the charge king David made to Solomon, the richest man that ever lived in the earth.

1 Kings 2:3  And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

You too are a king and priest unto God for it is written:

Rev 1: 5  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Determine today to obey God, and to keep His Word in your life. Let’s declare:

  1. 1 Kin 2:3 I keep the word and I prosper in all I do.

You are a king before God, serving the king of all kings, and Lord of all Lords. This is not fantasy, but Biblical truth. Question is, how God dealt with kings that served Him. See here the commissioning of Solomon:

2 Chron 1: 8  And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

9  Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

10  Give me now wisdom and knowledge that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people that is so great?

11  And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

12  Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

Solomon knew he did not have what it took to rule Israel, and if you are honest with yourself and God, neither do you. He humbled Himself before God, and asked for wisdom to lead in his generation. We need to do the same thing. We need God to not only give us wisdom and money, but purity of heart and motive, to conduct ourselves wisely in this lifetime.

James declares that 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

That in Jesus Col 2: 3  In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

We all know that Solomon was the wisest king that ever lived, right. The Question is, can God make us that wise? The answer is yes! He can, and will, if we simply, humbly ask. You can become as wise as Solomon, by believing and receiving, the wisdom of God.

Let’s ask, “Father, I ask you for wisdom to lead for you in this generation. Purify my heart and motive, and give me understanding and knowledge. Thank you Father, I believe I receive this now, in Jesus name, Amen!”

Now, let’s believe we receive the wisdom of Solomon, through Jesus, now, in Jesus name. Father, I believe you love me, as much as you love Solomon. You gave Him great wisdom, and I believe I receive this now, for you know me, and my need is great. Apart from you I know nothing, and can do nothing, but in Jesus, I confess:

  1. 2 Chron 1:12 Wisdom and knowledge are granted to me and God gives me riches, wealth and honor in abundance.

Now read with me:2 Chron 20:20 ¶  And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

You need to understand what was happening here. This is the story of king Jehoshaphat, in battle, against impossible odds. They had cried out to God, for a battle plan, and God told him to assemble the singers, and to praise and worship him, before the enemy. As they did, God moved, and destroyed the enemy army, without them having to even fight.

Read the promise again. Trusting in the Lord will establish you, but it is when the Holy Spirit shows up and prophetic utterance comes that you will prosper. This is why it is critical that you get involved in a New Testament, Bible believing, Holy Spirit filled church. Not only is it a command in the Word of God, but here, the prophetic will flow, and God will bring prosperity to you.

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

I believe God is going to bring some prophetic preachers into your life, and you will hear and act upon what they say. Let’s confess:

  1. 2 Chron 20:20 I believe God’s prophets and I prosper.

Let’s look at another king’s life, king Uzziah. This guy was appointed king when he was only 16 years old! Yet, because he sought the Lord, he reigned for 52 years. Well, if you pastored a church, ran a business, or served in government for 52 years, serving God in it, I would have to say that is a pretty good, productive life. Let’s read:

2 Chron 26:3  Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.

4  And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.

5  And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

Notice that God has never changed. Uzziah lived right, and he sought the Lord.

No difference between that and the command of Jesus, Matt 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Right now, you are sitting under His Word, seeking His will for your life, right? You just qualified yourself for financial prosperity, so let’s believe and receive it!

  1. 2 Chron 26:5 As long as I seek the Lord he makes me prosperous.

Let’s look at another promise from the book of Job:

Job 22: 21 ¶  Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

22  Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

23  If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.

24  Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

25  Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defense, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

26  For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.

27  Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

28  Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Simply by sitting here under His Word, you qualified yourself for this promise. Let’s believe we receive it, and declare:

  1. Job 22:24-25 I lay up gold as dust and have plenty of silver because I have delighted in the Almighty.

Here’s a simple verse. Job 36:11  If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

I’m determined to obey God, how about you? Let’s believe this and declare:

  1. Job 36:11 I obey and serve God and I spend my days in prosperity and my years in pleasure.

Here’s another great promise:

Ps 1:1 ¶  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

We need to be careful who we listen to! We are blessed of God by not listening to ungodly counsel. Right now, we are listening to the instruction of the Word of God, and we are blessed! Let’s receive it confessing:

  1. Ps 1:1-2 I am blessed because I walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, but I delight in the law of the Lord.
  2. Ps 1:3 I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, I bring forth my fruit in season, my leaf does not wither and everything I do prospers abundantly.

It has been said, that one day of favor is better than a thousand days of labor. It’s true. Ruth found herself in the field of Boaz, a wealthy man, and married into money. Esther was chosen from all the women of the realm to become queen. David was anointed king. Joseph was given favor with Pharaoh and appointed prime minister in a day. God wants to put supernatural favor and promotion upon your life, by His hand, for His glory, because He loves you. He will give you favor with people, if you ask Him for it, believe you receive it, and declare it by faith.

Let’s look at a couple of examples:

Ge 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

Ex 12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

Es 2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

Job 10:12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

Pr 8:35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

Da 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

Ac 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Ps 5: 12  For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Let’s believe we receive favour from God, with people.

  1. Ps 5:12 The Lord blesses me and his favor is around me like a shield.

Let’s look at one of most famous psalms in the Bible, and actually believe and act upon it, on purpose:

Ps 23:1 ¶  «A Psalm of David.» The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

  1. Ps 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd I am not in want, I am walking in abundance. I believe you are speaking to me today Lord, and I am listening Holy Spirit, for your leading, voice, and promptings today.
  2. Ps 23:6 I believe you love me, and that your goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.

Let’s look at another promise: Ps 34:10  The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Let’s believe we receive it and declare it in faith:

  1. Ps 34:10 Because I seek the Lord I do not lack any good thing.

Psalm 35:27  Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

28  And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Well this is a precious promise. It says here that God not only will prosper us, but that He delights to do so. Let’s put a smile on God’s face today, and give Him pleasure, by prospering today. Let’s believe and confess:

  1. Ps 35:27 Let the Lord be magnified who takes pleasure in my abundant prosperity.

Are we having fun yet? Loving God’s Word, for His promises are so rich and liberal. Let’s read: Ps 37: 4  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5  Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

9  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

11  But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

We believe we receive it and confess:

  1. Ps 37:4 I delight myself in the Lord and he gives me the desires of my heart. I humble myself before His Word, and I inherit the earth.

Let’s look at another promise:

The promise:   Ps 40:4 4  Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

We believe and receive it confessing:

  1. Ps 40:4 I am abundantly blessed because I trust in the Lord and walk in truth at all costs.

Here is a truth that is not so upbeat and fun, but is in the Word of God, none the less. When you serve Jesus, you will have trouble in this world. In fact, simply by hearing this word today, and receiving revelation from Holy Spirit, Satan will try and attack you, because of what you are now hearing. You are designed to prevail victoriously, but there is a fight of faith:

Mr 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Heb 10:32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Mark 4: 17  And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.

Ps 66:12  Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

You don’t have to use your faith for persecutions and affliction, Satan and wicked, hard hearted people will bring these to your door. Yet, as you endure, keeping your heart fixed upon the Lord, you will prevail, and prosper financially, for it is written that Jesus will give you victory! Now, let’s believe for His goodness and breakthroughs declaring:

  1. Ps 66:12 God has brought me into a wealthy place. Thank you Jesus that through you, I overcome the world!

The Promise:    Ps 68: 19  Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

The provision of the promise comes as we believe, receive, and confess:

  1. Ps 68:19 Thank you Father God you daily load me with your abundant benefits.

The promise:    Ps 84:5  Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

So we agree with the promise, and receive it confessing:

  1. Ps 84:5 I am blessed because my strength is in the Lord.

More promises to the faithful:Ps 84:4  Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Ps 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Pretty clear here, In order to fully qualify for this verse, you need to do more than just believe, receive, and confess it: we need to do it. Means if want to fully prosper, God’s way, we need to be hooked up and a member of a good local church, and actually attending.

  1. Ps 84:4 I am blessed because I dwell in the house of the Lord.

The promise: Ps 85: 12  Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

The confession of belief:

  1. Ps 85:12 The Lord has given me that which is good and my land yields it’s increase.

The promise: Ps 105:24  And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.

Believe you receive it by confessing:

  1. Ps 105:24 God has increased me mightily and made me stronger than my enemies.

The promise: Ps 105: 37  He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

This verse refers to the children of Israel being delivered out of the bondage of Egypt. Egypt is a type of the world system, and sin. Jesus death upon the cross delivered you from the world, your flesh, and sin, and when He delivered you, He delivered you from poverty, bondage, and sickness. It is not His will for you to be bound, broke, or sick.

Let’s believe this on purpose, to release His power to manifest your prosperity, deliverance, and health.

  1. Ps 105:37 God has brought me forth with silver and gold, in strength and health.

Here’s a promise, made to righteous folks. Positionally, you cannot become any more righteous than the blood of Jesus has already made you, for it is written:

Ro 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

Ro 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Before the throne of God, right now, if you love and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, the blood of Jesus speaks for you. You are forgiven, redeemed, accepted, adopted into the family of God, and deeply loved. You one job is to believe and obey.

Ps 112:1 ¶  Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2  His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3  Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Let’s believe and receive this confessing:

  1. Ps 112:1 I am blessed because I fear the Lord and delight greatly in his commandments.
  2. Ps 112:3 Wealth and riches are in my house.

Here is another precious promise: Ps 115: 13  He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14  The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15  Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16  The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Let’s believe it on purpose, confessing:

  1. Ps 115:13 God blesses them that fear him both small and great.
  2. Ps 115:14 The Lord has increased me more and more, me and my children, and he is giving me my portion of the earth!

The Promise: Ps 116:7  Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Let’s believe, receive and confess:

  1. Ps 116:7 The Lord has dealt bountifully with me.

The prayer: Ps 119:25 25  Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

We believe we receive this, for we have asked in Jesus name!

  1. Ps 118:25 Thank you Lord for sending prosperity now.

It is written: Ps 119:2  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

3  They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

Let’s believe, receive and confess:

  1. Ps 119:2 I am blessed because I keep his testimonies and seek him with my whole heart.

Ps 122:6 ¶  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7  Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8  For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9  Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

Father, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and your blessing upon Israel. I proclaim Peace be within you. Now you said, that if I love and pray for Jerusalem you will prosper me, so I confess:”

  1. Ps 122:7 Peace is within my walls and prosperity in my home.

It is written: Ps 128: 1 ¶  «A Song of degrees.» Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

2  For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3  Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4  Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

5  The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6  Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

Father, I bring this very promise before your throne, and I choose to believe for me, my family and this generation. I declare:

  1. Ps 128:1 I am blessed because I fear the Lord and walk in his ways. I believe I shall be happy and it is well with me. My wife and children are fruitful and blessed, and I shall see my grandchildren and peace in Israel.

It is written: Ps 127:1 «A Song of degrees for Solomon.» Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

  1. Ps 128:2 I eat the labor of my hands and it is well with me and I am happy. I believe you Lord, are building my house, and protecting me and my country, in Jesus name!

The precious promise of sonship, let’s agree.

Pr 3: 1 ¶  My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

2  For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

3  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4  So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 ¶  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

8  It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

9  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

I listen to this verse, and choose to believe it Father, boldly declaring:

  1. Prov 3:9-10 I honor the Lord with my substance and first fruits of my increase, my barns are filled with plenty and my vats are bursting forth with new wine. I believe I receive long life, favor, health and strength in my bones!

The Promise:Pr 3: 33  The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

By the blood of Jesus I have been justified in the sight of God so I declare:

  1. Prov 3:33 God blesses my habitation.

The voice of wisdom: Pr 8:1 ¶  Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2  She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

3  She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

4  Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

5  O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

6  Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

7  For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

8  All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

9  They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

10  Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

11  For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

12 ¶  I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

13  The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

14  Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15  By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16  By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

17  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

18  Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

19  My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

20  I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

21  That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

  1. 60. Holy Spirit, you are my wisdom, my friend, and I love you and seek you early. I place you and your presence greater than any material thing. I thank you living that as I live with you God, you cause me to inherit substance and You fill my treasure.

The promise: Pr 10:22 ¶  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Let’s believe we recieve it declaring:

  1. Prov 10:22 Your blessing Lord makes me rich and you adds no sorrow with it. I command hearache, grief, sorrow, and pain to leave my life, for it is written that I receive NO SORROW!

The promise:Pr 10:4 ¶  He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

Lord help me to be faithful and diligent today, for I believe your Word declaring:

  1. Prov 10:4 The hand of the diligent maketh rich.

The promise: Pr 10:6 ¶  Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

7 ¶  The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

I believe that you are making my life count Jesus, in this life, and for all eternity. According to your word, I believe I receive:

  1. Prov 10:6-7 Blessings are upon my head and my memory is blessed.

Pr 11:16 ¶  A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.

Lu 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace

1Co 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

2Ti 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Father, I ask you for strength right now, in every area of my life. I believe I receive it, in Jesus name. I declare:

  1. Father, make all women gracious, retaining honor, and I believe I receive your strength to retain riches.

Father, your word says: Pr 11: 25 ¶  The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

I believe that:

  1. Prov 11:25 I am generous and I prosper, I refresh others and I myself am refreshed.

Father, it is written: Pr 13:11 ¶  Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

Protect me from wealth gained by vanity, but let me gain wealth honorably, through work and wise investments, for I believe:

  1. Prov 13:11 He that gathers by labor shall increase. I believe you are directing my work.

Isa 45:11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

Isa 61:8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

I believe that you are prospering me for the sake of my children and grandchildren, should you tarry Lord, for it is written:

22 ¶  A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

I believe I receive that:

  1. Prov 13:22 The wealth of the sinner is laid up for me and it is coming to me now in overflowing proportions. I command it to come to me now, in Jesus name. I believe Father that you are directing all my work, in truth.

It is written :Pr 15: 6 ¶  In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

Father, I believe I recieve the provision of this very promise into my house right now, much treasure by your authority and command. I believe I can come boldly to your throne through Jesus shed blood, as your righteous child.  I confess:

  1. Prov 15:6 In my house is much treasure because I am in right standing with God.

Pr 16:3 ¶  Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

7 ¶  When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

  1. Prov 16:3 I commit my works to the Lord and my thoughts are established. Help me Lord to walk fully in you, my way, that all my ways please you, that all my enemies be at peace with me.

It is written in Pr 24: 3 ¶  Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

4  And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Father, I have asked you for wisdom and knowledge, and I have believed I have received it, so I confess:

  1. Prov 24:3-4 Through wisdom my house is built and by understanding it is established and by knowledge every room is filled with all good and pleasant riches.

It is written in Pr 28: 20 ¶  A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

Isa 42:22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

Satan has come and stolen from you through sin, and wicked people. God did not do it! He loves you! In this verse, we see the promise of restoration, if just one of us would cry out unto God, declaring before the earth, in authority over all the works of darkness, Restore!

I believe that I receive this promise, and as a faithful man I declare:

  1. Prov 28:20 I am faithful and I abound with blessings. RESTORE!

It is written: Proverbs 28:25 ¶  The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

  1. Prov 28:25 I believe I am loved, and delivered from the fear of man. I put my trust in the Lord and I am blessed, enriched and protected.

It is written: Is 1:19  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

I choose to be willing, and obedient, therefore I declare:

  1. Isa 1:19 I am willing and obedient and I eat the good of the land.

Father, you promised you servant Cyrus when you said: Is 45: 1 ¶  Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

2  I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

3  And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

I am asking you Father to perform this very promise for me, for there are many obstacles in my life, only you can move. I believe I receive your hand upon my life now, confessing:

  1. Isa 45:2 I believe that you go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: You break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: and you give me the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches in secret places.

The promise: Is 48:17  Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Let’s believe we receive it confessing:

  1. Isa 48:17 The Lord teaches me to profit and leads me in the way I should go.

Isn’t good to know that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us? That He is with us, to the end of the age? He does this by the presence of the Holy Spirit, John 16: 7 ¶  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

12  I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

John 14: 26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Holy Spirit is in you, and will come on you to do the work of God in this generation. His presence is prosperity, for He created all things!

The promise: Is 61: 1 ¶  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

4 ¶  And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

5  And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

6  But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

7  For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Let’s believe we receive Him, mighty Holy Spirit of the living God, and walk in Him in power to this generation. Since we are teaching on prosperity, let’s declare:

  1. Isa 61:6 I eat the wealth of the nations and the glory of my captors is now mine.
  2. Isa 61:7 Instead of shame I have a 2-fold recompense. I rejoice in my portion and in my land I possess the double. Everlasting joy is mine.

The promise: Jer 29: 11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

  1. Jer 29:11 God has prospered me and given me hope and a future.

Mt 14:17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

Mt 14:19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

We all know this story. Jesus received a little boys lunch, blessed it, multiplied it, and fed a crowd of 5000! Well, Jesus is still the same today, and longs to provide for you and His people. It is written: Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Which part of the story are you? The little boy bringing Almighty Jesus your simple offering, or a mountain moving, anointed disciple, He expects to be dividing the loaves and fishes for others?

  1. Let’s pray: I love you Lord Jesus, and I believe in you, personally. I believe you are well able to multiply my seed to meet not only my need, but the needs of those around me. Do it Lord! Glorify your name through my life in provisional miracles. Amen!

This next promise is a shadow and type of God’s redemption of His people. They had sinned, and fallen under His judgment. His judgment was now to be lifted, just like, through Jesus, it has been lifted upon my and your life. We are forgiven, redeemed, restored, prospered and blessed!

The promise: Zech 8:11  But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.

12  For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.

13  And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

Choose to receive this for your life, personally by confessing:

  1. Zech 8:12 For my seed is prosperous and my vine gives her fruit, my ground her increase, the heaven her dew and God causes me to possess all these things.

A prophetic promise: Zech 14:14  And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

This is a promise made to one of the tribes of Israel, Judah, of how God would deliver them in battle at the city of Jerusalem. Yet, I believe there can be an allegorical, prophetic interpretation of this verse, for the church of the living God today. The word Judah, literally means, ‘praise’, and praise and worship is a weapon of spiritual warfare. In Psalms we read Ps 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength (praise) because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

When we praise and worship God, spiritual forces of wickedness, are literally paralyzed, stopped, forbidden from stealing and destroying your stuff.

This is a promise to the praiser!

Well, let’s activate this promise by faith, by praising and worshipping our Father and declaring:

  1. Zech 14:14 The wealth of the heathen is gathered together in abundance for me, gold, silver and apparel in great abundance. Thank you for it Father! I praise and worship you for you are so good to me! I love you Father, and bless your Holy name!

Previously, we looked briefly at the principal of establishing the tithe in our lives. We need to understand how our life here in earth, is lived out in the eyes of heaven, before the throne of God. When we give our tithe, we declare before heaven, earth, and all the angels and demons our covenant with God. That we are no longer limited by this earth or what the strength of our own arm might provide. God is our source, our King, and His kingdom is in force and in place in our lives, with the windows of heaven opened upon us!

We see the principal of believing and speaking again, for God says clearly here that we tithe with both our money, and our words. We believe we receive this promise, confessing:

  1. Mal 3:10 God has opened the windows of heaven above me and is pouring out a continuous blessing upon me so I am overflowing with abundance. Thank you Father, that you rebuke the devourer for my sake, and that
  2. Mal 3:12 All the nations of the land call me blessed.

You recall the Lord’s prayer, given by Jesus in Matt 6:9 ¶  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11  Give us this day our daily bread.

This is a daily prayer, declaring our daily dependence upon Jesus for it is written: Lamentations 3: 22  It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Each day, as we pray this, we can believe we receive it, for He is faithful who has promised, declaring:

  1. Matt 6:11 Father, I believe I receive, your kingdom coming in power in my life, and that God you have given me this day my daily bread, You lead me beside still waters and restore my soul.

The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. Jesus is the fulfillment of the law and the prophets, which means that wonderful blessings given to the people of God in the Old Testament are fully ours, and more, through Jesus.

Every 50 years under the law, there was to be a year of Jubilee. During this year, all debts were cancelled, and all slavery and bondage ended. God supernaturally so blessed the crops of the Israelites, that they did not have to even work the fields for a year, and they were to celebrate and worship God for the whole year with their families! You can read about this celebration in Lev 25-27.

Le 25:11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

Jesus is our Jubilee, which is why he could stand up and proclaim, announcing His arrival by saying:

Lu 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Jesus is good news to the poor. What is good news to a poor man? That you don’t have to remain poor! God is on the scene to provide, God Almighty that is, Creator of the universe, El Shaddai, the all sufficient one, the source of all life and material things!

Let’s believe that on purpose confessing:

  1. Jesus, you are my Jubilee! I believe you are delivering me from all of my debts, and setting me free. I receive your anointing, that reveals, comforts, delivers, and supplies my every need!

Ever wondered how God created everything? It did not appear out of nothing, but was created from a higher form of matter, a substance called Spirit. Faith applied to that substance, created all material. What we are doing here, is linking that substance, Sprit, into our lives, to create that which we need. Elisha multiplied the oil, Jesus multiplied loaves and fishes, God created the universe. How? From the realm of Spirit, He created matter.

He did it with faith filled words!

In Genesis, when the earth was dark, formless, and void, God spoke into the darkness, and said: LIGHT BE! And there was light. Holy Spirit, heard, understood, and moved, and created light, where there had been none before!

Amazingly, this is what you are doing with your finances right now.

2Pe 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

By taking the Word of God, that Jesus said is Spirit and life, Jn 4, and believing it, and confessing it, you are literally reaching into a higher realm of matter, that has the ability to create anything this universe is or would be. These promises cause us to partake of God’s divine nature, or His realm of Spirit! Spirit rules and can create all other matter!

This is how Jesus divided the loaves and fishes. He saw what the Father was about to do, and He reached into the Spirit realm by faith, and then Holy Spirit honored His faith and His words, and created the loaves and fishes needed to feed the multitudes.

Jesus kingdom is a kingdom of love. Faith works by love. He loves us! Since we are loved, we are commanded to love, forgive and bless, even our enemies.

Luke 6:35  But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36  Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37 ¶  Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 6:38 has been quoted often with respect to money, and indeed it does apply to money too, but there is much more to Biblical, kingdom prosperity, than mere money! It is a kingdom of love, and faith, and honor, and goodness, and joy! Money is simply a tool and reward of operating in kingdom laws of love. Believing and receiving promises from God places a smile on God’s face, because He delights to be trusted, believed, and loved back for all His goodness bestowed upon us. There are many treasures in life that mere money cannot buy: friendship, wisdom, peace, joy, honor, freedom, truth to name a few. Yet, love is the greatest virtue of the kingdom of God, the highest goal to be obtained, in fact, faith works by love. If you become hard hearted, your faith becomes a clanging, hollow gong, void of life and power. Yet, God loves us, and it is fun to give! Truly, it is to the giver that joyfully understands why God said, ‘it is more blessed to give than to receive’. I love you and want you have a joy-filled life, which is why I am preaching for a purpose, to get money and stuff to you, so that not only are your needs met, then your wants, but that 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

I know you have given, now let’s believe we receive the provision of the promise believing:

  1. Luke 6:38 I have given and it is given unto me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over do men give into my bosom. For with the same measure I give it is given back to me in overflowing abundance.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Zoë = spiritual life imparted from God).

  1. John 10:10 Jesus came that I have life and have it more abundantly.

Acts 4:33  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

34  Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

Notice that financial prosperity, generosity, and justice occurs when the anointing shows up. God’s tangible presence produces prosperity. We ask you Lord that you show us your power today, and break chains of injustice in our lives. I boldly declare:

  1. Act 4:34 There are none around me that lack any good thing.

2Ki 4:7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

Mt 18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

In these three passages of Scriptures, we find faith to handle financial debt. In the widows oil, we see the heart of God through the prophet Elisha, in multiplying the widows oil, to pay her bills, and cancel her debt.

In Matt 18, Jesus tells the story of the man who was a servant, yet who grossly mismanaged funds, and got himself so far in debt, that there was no way out, not even through a lifetime of hard work. Yet, rather than going to prison, he cried out for mercy to the king, and the king forgave him and released him from his debts. This is a parable taught by Jesus to illustrate His mercy, and commanding us to forgive, yet is not the Spirit of Jesus the same with respect to financial debt? Is He not Lord over heaven and earth? Is not the entire earth His? Is He not the judge of the universe? Can you not plead for mercy, and forgiveness of debt in the courts of the most high God? Can He not forgive financial debt?

Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I have sinned financially Father, and I need healing in my finances. It is written that:

1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Maybe, the financial seed you need to sow, is forgiveness of debt. People determined not to pay you, might need to be forgiven their debts. This seed you sow, might be the very thing you need to keep you out of prison, or a lifetime of poverty, bitterness and bondage. Let it go…

Ro 12:21  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Let’s pray: Father, you see my mountain of financial debt, and I come to you, expecting you to both meet my need, and forgive me for getting into this mountain of debt. Have mercy upon me, and Father, deliver me I pray, for it is written that I am to owe no man anything, but the debt of love.

I believe that you have forgiven me, and delivered me, so I declare by faith: Mountain of bills and debt, MOVE, in Jesus name. I declare, by faith in you:

  1. Rom 13:8 I owe no man nothing but to love him.

Gen 26:1 ¶  And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

12 ¶  Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

We see again, the blessing of Abraham, carried on to the next generation in the life of Isaac. Previously, we studied how this very blessing is operating in your life through Jesus. Yet, Isaac had to sow something for God to multiply.

This is the same principal taught here in the New Testament:

2 Cor 9:6 ¶  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

9  (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

10  Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

11  Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Father, again I recognize the covenant of Abraham operating in my life. Show me what you would have me sow, and where. I believe that by faith:

  1. 2 Cor 9:6 I sow bountifully and I reap bountifully, and I believe that God is enriching me to all bountifulness, causing me and others to be thankful and grateful to you Father God.

I believe that :91. 2 Cor 9:8 God has made all grace abound toward me so that I having all sufficiency in all things do abound to every good work.

  1. 2 Cor 9:11 I have been made rich in every way so that I can be generous on every occasion and through this God gets the glory. Thank you Father!

Gal 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

  1. Gal 6:7 I will not be deceived, God is not mocked for whatsoever I sow I also reap, for in due season I reap and I faint not. I’m strong in the Lord, and His mighty power, and I do good in every opportunity given me!

Pr 20:7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

Pr 11:27 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

President Paul Kagame of Rwanda– “Donors would be right to say they cannot give money blindly to a country that has weak institutions and corruption, as there is likelihood that money will be lost. This puts the onus on us to merit being given money and manage it.. Ownership comes along with showing that you have and can exercise responsibility”

  1. Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

21  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Thank you Father, you are doing wonderful things in my life, by your power. Be glorified.

Phil 4:17  Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18  But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

  1. Phil 4:19 My God supplies all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

The promise:1 Tim 6:17  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18  That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

We believe we recieve it confessing:

  1. 17 I will not be high-minded, or trust in uncertain riches, but in God who gives me all things to enjoy.
  2. 1 Tim 6:18 I am rich in good works, ready to distribute and willing to share.

It is written:

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Let’s personalize it, and declare it:

  1. Father, I believe you are releasing good and perfect gifts today from heaven. I believe you love me enough to give me some of them, and I recieve them, now, by faith, through Jesus name!

The promise:3 John 2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

We believe we receive it saying:

  1. 3 John 1:2 I prosper and am in health even as my soul prospers.

No teaching on financial prosperity would be complete without briefly talking about fasting. Jesus commanded it, and there are times in our lives that Holy Spirit will lead us to skip some meals and press into heaven, that He can speak to us, and do for us some things that only He can do.

Mt 6:16  Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

In Isaiah we see a chosen fast of the Lord.

Is 58:6  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

7  Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

8 ¶  Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

9  Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

10  And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

11  And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

12  And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

13 ¶  If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

14  Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

When I fast, be it food, coffee, chocolate, or whatever, I confess these verses over my life, and Jesus has been faithful to reveal His will and Word to me repeatedly over the years.

There is the account in the book of Danial, where Danial fasted for 3 weeks, ‘no pleasant foods’.

Danial 10:2  In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

3  I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Some say to only eat vegetables for 3 weeks, I simply skip deserts, coffee, and treats, for these are my ‘pleasant foods’, again confessing Is 58:6-12 daily, during the time I am fasting.

Well, that about sums it up. I plan to make this teaching into a CD series, then a simple daily confession sheet you can use in your daily devotions.
