Double for your trouble
Zechariah 9: 12 ¶ Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
Isa 54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Isa 61:7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Jesus loves you, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. “So, if Jesus loves me”, you may ask, “why all the heartache, betrayal, and pain in my life. You don’t know the trouble I’ve seen!”
Though I may not know exactly how the devil did you. How broken fallen and twisted people misused, betrayed, brutalized, and ripped you off, but I do know this: God is good, and He did not do it to you.
He also happens to be Almighty King of heaven and earth, and if you will trust Him, and cry these very promises before His throne, He will hear, answer, and give you double for your trouble, at least twice back what you lost!
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, you have seen, you know, what I have been through. Bruised, broken, betrayed, ripped off, and frustrated about it! I am your child! Shall not the judge of all the universe do right? Release your power! Restore my life! Render to me, double what I have lost, now! I know I am heard, and that you have done it, because I ask in your name Lord Jesus, Amen!”
