Yesterday at church, I was asked why a baby died. As I inquired about the circumstances, I learned that the mom had been raped, and was living in the drug scene. I was reminded of this verse:

Isaiah 57:1
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Children are always gifts from God, yet seems that sometimes, they get raised in heaven, when parents are not living for Jesus down here.

Let’s pray:

Father, for those that have lost people prematurely, please in Your mercy, comfort them, draw them close to You in Your love. For those who are not serving Jesus, may this time become of time of soul-searching, and positive change. Make a way for them where there appears to be no way, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus. Amen’
